Pedal To Pow

Pedal To Pow

This year I took it upon myself to find new backcountry terrain a little closer to home, away from the crowded skin tracks of the Cottonwoods. Not only am I searching for private pow stashes, but determined to access the backcountry using a low impact method, the fat bike. No expensive sleds, loud engines, dripping oil and gasoline in the backyard. I took my commute to the trail head from 23 miles down to 2, not only saving thousands of dollars in fuel costs but more importantly, taking another vehicle off of the road every morning, contributing to cleaning up the bad air quality that rolls into SLC valley each winter.
